Music is, per Schopenhauer, the crystallization of the human Will. Music is, per Shakespeare, the food of love. Music provides the background and inspiration for our coupling (Barry White), our decoupling (Burt Bacharach) and our re-coupling (Sinatra). Music has, for centuries, played its role in getting people into bed and peopling our world. Melody begets begetting.
