Any Aristotelian empiricist can do this simple test.
1) Put a frog into a pan of cold water and he is happy.
2) Put a frog into a pan of hot water and he will quickly jump out.
3) Put a frog into a pan of cold water and gradually raise the temperature, say one degree per minute, and soon you will have a poached frog.
Why does this, somehow, remind me of...marriage?
