Not sure if I'm ther person to write such a book or not, but it does need to be written!
Stuart Laycocknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4122629330054677829.post-81856649215690746322013-03-04T23:20:45.247-08:002013-03-04T23:20:45.247-08:00Very glad you enjoyed the book and thanks for taki...Very glad you enjoyed the book and thanks for taking the trouble to tell me so. It's always nice to hear!

Thanks too for the reference to Captain Cook. As you know from the book, it's sometime a bit hard to define an 'invasion' but maybe I should mention it in the next revised version. I've already had to update the book with a reference to UK suppport for the current French intervention in Mali.
Stuart Laycocknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4122629330054677829.post-71646619697919596672013-03-03T23:20:10.975-08:002013-03-03T23:20:10.975-08:00Thanks

Hence the significance of Port wine in British culture.... subordinate, yes, but still reciprocal. The Royal Navy escorted the entire court of Portugal from Lisbon to Rio de Janeiro in 1808 to escape the insidious encroachment of Napoleon and the French... for that, and other reasons, Brazil is not on the list.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16154815952505788299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4122629330054677829.post-42253521079829220752013-03-03T14:05:27.046-08:002013-03-03T14:05:27.046-08:00Here are the countries NOT invaded according to La...Here are the countries NOT invaded according to Laycock....

Andorra
Belarus
Bolivia
Burundi
Central African Republic
Chad
Congo (Republic of)
Guatemala
Ivory Coast
Kyrgyzstan
Liechtenstein
Luxembourg
Mali
Marshall Islands
Monaco
Mongolia
Paraguay
Sao Tome and Principe
Sweden
Tajikistan
Uzbekistan
Vatican City
Commander Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03602902461964252463noreply@blogger.com
